A Reminder From The Attendance Office

Is My Child Well Enough To Go To School?

Parents are frequently concerned about the decision of when to keep their children home, or send them to school. The following information is intended to help parents with this decision.

Students should stay home if they:

    • have a fever of 100 degrees or more, and should remain at home for 24 hours after the temperature returns to normal.
    • have vomited or has had diarrhea, and should remain at home for 24 hours after it has stopped.
    • have strep throat (until on antibiotic for 24 hours).
    • have a persistent cough.
    • have red, inflamed or draining eyes.

If your child is absent from or late coming to school, please call the attendance office as soon as possible at (585) 637-1831.
Voice mail is available 24 hours a day.

In order to make sure that all of our students are safe, we will make every effort to contact parents/guardians/contacts if the attendance office is not notified.

    Thank you!
