Benefit Resource, Inc. (BRI) FSA/HRA/HSA

Benefit Resource, Inc. (BRI) has a new participant portal to access your HRA/HSA/FSA online.   You should have received an email directly from BRI if you have an account with them.  If not, please read below to help guide you through the necessary steps to gain access to your account:

  1. If you are still using your Member ID (which is your Social Security Number) as your login ID, then you will need to register as a new user to create a new login id and password.
    • As a reminder, your company code is bcs1.
  1. If you already changed your Member ID to something other than your Social Security Number, then log in as usual.  It may prompt you to change your password, as the criteria for that has changed as well.

We do not have access to your login information, so please contact BRI directly for any assistance you may need.

Plan your deductions carefully
. Money left in the account at the end of the year is forfeited (commonly known as the “use it or lose it” provision). While you have 60 days from the end of the plan year to submit your expenses, we encourage you to submit your claims for reimbursement as soon as possible, as there is not an extended grace period (EGP).

Please note: Only those employees new to BRI will receive a new Beniversal MasterCard. Those who already have an account with BRI will NOT receive a new Beniversal MasterCard, so please keep and continue to use your card.

If you leave employment with the District at any time during the plan year, only expenses that were incurred during your employment period will be honored. Claims for reimbursement must be submitted within 60 days from your separation of service with the District.

**Please note: The plan year runs from January 1st – December 31st. Your designated amounts will be deducted in only 18 equal payments (12 between January – June, and 6 between October and December), beginning with your first paycheck in January. The full amount will be on your card to use January 1st.**
