2020-21 Budget

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order No. 202.26 on May 1, 2020 that modified the rules under which school districts conduct the 2020 annual meeting for the budget vote and the election of school board members.

Budget Vote - June 16, 2020:

The Governor announced his Executive Order on June 7, extending the deadline for school districts to receive school budget ballots. To be counted, school budget absentee ballots can be accepted by hand delivery through 5 p.m. on June 9, or received by mail by 5 p.m. on June 16. The ballot box located in the administration building entry way must be removed at 5 p.m. on June 9 and no additional ballots may be distributed at that point.

Absentee Ballots:
Two ballots will be mailed to each resident's home. If you require an additional ballot, please contact the District Clerk at (585) 637-1939 or District.Clerk@bcs1.org. Ballots can be mailed to the district or dropped off at the ballot box located in the main entry of the District Office.

Please be sure to carefully follow the instructions for completing your absentee ballot. Fill in the bubble completely with pen. Do not mark, tear or deface the ballot. Sign and date the front of the absentee ballot envelope. Print your name, address and town on the back. BOTH SIDES MUST BE COMPLETED. Place sealed absentee ballot envelope in postage paid return envelope and return. FAILURE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS MAY RENDER THE BALLOT VOID.

Budget Hearing- June 2, 2020:
The Budget Hearing is scheduled for June 2, 2020 at 6 p.m. via Zoom Videoconferencing, which will be live streamed on the district's FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/brockportcsd/live/  Residents with budget questions can email communications@bcs1.org during the budget presentation.
