Board of Education Candidate Information:

One Board of Education trustee will be elected to serve a five-year term beginning July 1, 2021. Residents must meet the following qualifications to run for a seat on the Board:

BOE Candidate Qualifications:

  • Citizen of the United States

  • Resident within the boundaries of the Brockport Central School District for a continuous and uninterrupted period of at least one year immediately prior to election day

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Able to read and write

  • May not have been removed from any school district office within the preceding year

  • May not reside with another member of the same school board as a member of the same family

  • May not be a current employee of the school district

  • May not simultaneously hold another incompatible public office
