50 BHS students inducted into NHS

Fifty students from Brockport High School were inducted into the district’s chapter of National Honor Society (NHS).

On January 9, 2023, the soon-to-be inducted students were joined by their NHS advisors, district administrators, and current members of NHS to celebrate their scholastic and extra-curricular achievements and receive their certificates.

This year’s keynote address was delivered by Suzie Cool, a multimedia journalist serving as the digital host to the Rochester Americans and Rochester Knighthawks.  Cool’s address inspired students as she broke down each of the four pillars of the National Honors Society: scholarship, service, leadership and character. Cool emphasized the importance of the students’ having a strong character as one of the most important pillars and believing in themselves in order to make their dreams a reality.
