Brockport Central School District has appointed Garrett Hotchkiss as Cybersecurity Coordinator. The appointment was approved by the Board of Education during the Board Meeting on July 14, 2023 and became effective on July 17.

Garrett has worked in the Brockport IT department since December of 2015. During that time, he has worked in a variety of capacities including microcomputer technician, network technician and, most recently, senior network technician. Garrett has a bachelor’s degree in Information Security and Forensics, as well as certifications in Microsoft and Comp Tia Security+.

Garrett brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience protecting systems, networks and programs from digital attacks.
