The New York state Public High School Athletic Association advises that no athletic practices or contest be held if the heat index rises to 96 or higher.

The weather report for Brockport predicts that our heat index will reach 96 from approximately 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 6. The weather report for Brockport also predicts that our heat index will drop below 96 after 5:00 p.m. and will continue to drop through the evening.

Therefore, all athletic practices and contests between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. today will be cancelled or postponed. All athletic practices and contests after 6:00 p.m. today may continue as scheduled. Please contact your child’s coach for further scheduling details.
