BCSD ThoughtExchange open through June 22

Over the past few years, our District goals have focused on increasing student achievement in literacy, numeracy, and graduation rates as well as increasing safety and other important department improvements. Our current student achievement data shows that we have made substantial progress in these areas. While we look forward to these trends continuing, we believe it is time to incorporate input from staff, students and parents for the upcoming school year strategic planning and goal setting. In an effort to do this, we are asking for your input regarding ways in which you think we can improve.

Your confidential reflections on the topics below will offer valuable insights as we strive to continue to provide the best possible education for our students by being a leading, innovative and high-performing school district. Though your opinions will be shared with other participants, your identity will remain anonymous.

We will be listening for your thoughts/ideas around:

  • School Experiences
  • Technology
  • Athletics
  • Facilities
  • Food Service
  • Transportation

To ensure everyone has a chance to share their perspectives, we will be using ThoughtExchange to record and document your feedback. Beginning on June 8, once you have participated in the Exchange, you will have the opportunity to read and rate thoughts that other community members have shared (5 stars = strongly agree, 1 star = strongly disagree). We ask that you remain polite, respectful and constructive with your criticism. Thoughts that are rude, hurtful or identifying will be removed from the Exchange. The Exchange opened today, Thursday, June 8, 2023, and will run through Thursday, June 22, 2023. Please use this link to enter the Exchange: https://tejoin.com/scroll/737701132.

Your input is valued and appreciated. Thank you for working with us as we continually strive to Build a Better Brockport.
