Fifth Grade Families:

We are excited to be planning for our new sixth-graders to join us this fall!   

Our faculty members are visiting your fifth-grade student on Tuesday, May 11, 2022, during the afternoon to share the many wonderful aspects about Oliver Middle School. Please ask them about their favorite pieces of the visit, what they may be excited about and are looking forward to!  The link below is a video sharing our Welcome Presentation regarding life at OMS!

An exciting new experience in Middle School is that students will enroll in a World Language class.  This will be a three-year commitment, and your student will have the opportunity to earn a high-school credit.  Brockport offers two choices for World Language: Spanish or French.  Below is a link for you to make that selection by Friday, May 31.  A paper copy will be given to your child during the visit to the Hill School on May 11.

Additionally, we will be welcoming small groups of our fifth-graders over several afternoons in June to tour our building, ask current middle schoolers questions and meet some of our sixth-grade teachers.

This year, we will be welcoming families to OMS to tour the building, follow student schedules, set up lockers and meet some of our faculty and staff.  This visit will happen August 25, so please save the date!  More information regarding this visit will be provided as we get closer August.
