School Districts in New York State are required, per NYS Education Law, to provide Employment Certificates, more commonly known as Working Papers. At Brockport High School this service is provided through the Counseling Office.

Parents/guardians and minors can complete the appropriate application form and bring it, along with a current copy (within 12 months) of the minor's physical, to the High School Main Office. Fillable PDF versions of the AT-17 Application for Employment Certificate and AT-22 Application for Employment Permit are now available on NYSED’s Employment of Minors website. These forms are also available in the High School Main Office.

The Certificating Officer will then complete the working card. The minor must sign it in the presence of the Certificating Officer.
