25 BHS Students Excel in Entrepreneurship Class

25 students at Brockport High School had the opportunity to start real businesses and make sales as part of an innovative entrepreneurship class. During the program, students launched real businesses like candle making, dog treats, fly fishing equipment, lawn care, fitness programs, and more.

The program was a huge success and we are excited to see what amazing things our students will accomplish as they continue with their businesses!

Quotes from the Course

“It has been so awesome this semester to watch our students create their own businesses. They did everything including naming the business, designed logos and websites, marketing plans, building a customer base, and sales pitches. They’ve done everything that a regular business owner would be doing in their business. It’s extremely fun to watch the students develop skills that they’ll be able to take with them and use in any industry that they choose to enter after High School or College.“ - Mark Mutton, Business/Entrepreneurism teacher

“We are honored to be working with Brockport High School on this course and are so proud of all the students have accomplished. We know that the skills these students are learning at BHS will be carried with them the rest of their life.” – David Grubbs, Co-founder at Boss Club
