Brockport Central School District’s Board of Education voted to move forward with a $28.270 million Capital Improvement Project that will be brought to voters on December 12, 2023. The District utilized its building condition survey (state required evaluation of school facilities by architects and engineers) to identify work that will be completed as part of the proposed Capital Project. The reconstruction work and improvements to be made will protect our investment in District buildings and campus facilities.

In addition to reconstruction and maintenance costs (roofing, window replacement, general construction, plumbing, HVAC, LED lighting and masonry), the proposed project will reduce energy usage and save utility costs. The District will utilize NYS building aid (est. 87%) and $5.745 million from the 2023 Capital Reserve fund, allowing the District to complete the proposed $28.270 million 2023 Capital Project with no impact to local taxes. More information about the proposed Capital Project will be distributed to homes and posted on the District website in the near future.
